Spectacular Sparky
A loving homage to action-packed platformers of the 1990s, Spectacular Sparky is available on Nintendo Switch, Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Featuring full voice acting from a star-studded cast, including Sean Barrett (Dark Souls) and Arin Hanson (Game Grumps), Spectacular Sparky is a fast-paced, frenetic shooter published by Nicalis.
Working alongside developer FreakZone Games, I helped design the tone and lore of Sparky's world, and wrote dialogue for each of the game's boss encounters and cutscenes - with a strong emphasis on humour and worldbuilding throughout.
A direct callback to the 'mascot heroes' of the 1990s, our hero Sparky is equally lovable and psychotic as he tours the galaxy in pursuit of precious bounties (and possibly some character growth).
